Axel Walker, portrayed by Devon Graye, is the Trickster in The CW's Arrowverse. He first appears in The Flash, season 1, episode 17, "Tricksters."
Walker is a copycat criminal inspired by the original Trickster, James Jesse (Mark Hamill), who is also incarcerated in Iron Heights Penitentiary. Axel, initially believed to be Jesse's son, idolizes his predecessor and attempts to emulate his chaotic and destructive schemes.
While embracing Jesse's theatrical flair and using similar gadgets and tricks, Axel lacks Jesse's depth of planning and is eventually apprehended by The Flash. He serves as a minor antagonist throughout the series, often used as a pawn by other villains.
